I’m prepping tomorrow’s sandwich today (and it’s going to be Japanese inspired!) but I stumbled upon a story that I wanted to share with you, dear readers.

Saw this on Pinterest, and want to replace the jam with our homemade apple cognac butter. Will be awesome for E and I’s snowboarding trip to Lake Placid this weekend!

Only 5 Days Until Christmas

and I haven’t even started baking Christmas cookies. In fact, the only thing I’ve done is buy a bunch of decorating tools, cookie cutters, chocolate chips and other baking needs…and leave them on the counter to collect dust. I better get it together in time to leave out some sandwich cookies for Santa.

Spotted On The Street

Manhattan, Tuesday afternoon. 20th Street near Park Avenue. That’s a pretty strong claim, my friend. Perhaps I’ll invite the owner over for a meal at my house. Then we’ll see if he keeps the name on the side of the truck.

Gone Fishing (For Sandwiches. Maybe.)
