Quesadilla: Sandwich or not a Sandwich?

Me: Does a quesadilla count as a sandwich? E: I want to say yes because I love quesadillas. Me: There’s a piece of tortilla folded over with filling, or two pieces of tortilla with filling. I think it’s closer to a sandwich than the crepe.
