E’s birthday was yesterday. He had a short list of things he wanted:
Ice cream sandwiches are not a Breakfast of Champions. They’re filled with sugar and offer little caffeine or protein or other nutrients (maybe dairy. But that’s really all). They’re so not the ideal breakfast for a boyfriend who just came back from CrossFit.
My friends want me to have a birthday party for myself, but then I end up having to make the plans. I don’t want to do any work to enjoy my birthday. Instead, I’ll make E do it.
This weekend was E’s birthday! A celebration was in order.
