3 hot dog buns
1 cup sauerkraut
Cook kielbasa–place kielbasa in a skillet with enough water to nearly cover the links (about a cup of water should do it. I used enough water so the links were about 2/3 covered). Place over medium heat and bring a boil, then lower heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove links from skillet, drain water and juice. Then, to add some color to the sausage, sear on medium heat in skillet until links are brown. Remove from heat, stack in hot dog bun. Spoon on sauerkraut. Top with mustard. Sprinkle on black pepper if desired. Serve. Makes 3 sandwiches.
